Studying War No More

The global response to the Russian attack on Ukraine speaks to the humanity in people around the world. There are people in Russia who refuse to support Putin's military invasion on Ukraine. A lot of people think that Putin has committed war crimes, and there are rumors that Putin will be charged with wartime crimes.

It wasn't war propaganda or ideology that prompted people all over the world to speak out and aid the victims of the Russia Ukraine war. There are thousands of civilians dying and suffering because of Putin. There are reactions from all over the world. With Putin threatening every nation against aiding Ukraine militarily, the nations are left with aiding the Ukrainian people with food, clothes, diapers, and other essentials. People all over the world are supporting Ukraine, which can be seen in the thousands of candlelight vigils springing up.

No one wants to see Putin launch nuclear weapons. Putin has the upper hand right now because he has access to nuclear weapons that we do not want him to launch. We are all watching the madman hold the baby off the ledge of a tall building, gasping. The last time a madman attacked for no good reason in America, it didn’t end well for him.

While America is the world's leader, President Biden knows that military involvement cannot happen. There are countless people stepping up to help in lieau of military involvement. People are donating their money, time, and things to help the civilians. There are so many images going out over the internet with cellphones being used to capture the devastation. People are also capturing the pain.

Russia is trying to surround cities and access to food. They bombed the nuclear power plant and the international airport. Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the Kremlin's efforts to take over a massive nuclear power plant was "terror at an unprecedented level," and again called for NATO to implement a no-fly zone over his country. Putin just wants to completely annex Ukraine and make it part of Russia. Money, clothes, medical supplies, baby diapers, and toiletries will continue to be needed. Until the world studies war no more, we all need to continue to galvanize to help the Ukrainians. Finally, we must take the time and pray for peace before this war gets any bigger.
